Meet Garnett
Physiotherapist/Owner From the Prairies to the Rockies
Garnett’s journey into physical therapy is one of passion, perseverance, and a love for helping others. Born and raised in small-town Saskatchewan, Garnett’s early career in the trades gave him a solid foundation in hard work, but it was his drive to make a difference in people’s lives that led him to pursue his dream of rehabilitation. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Nutrition and Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Saskatchewan, setting him on a path to become a trusted guide in the world of injury recovery and prevention.
Garnett has had the privilege of working in both private and public healthcare settings, gaining a broad range of experience that enables him to support people of all ages and abilities. He is now proud to call Canmore home, having made the leap from the prairies to the mountains to pursue his lifelong dream of living in an active, outdoor environment.
A Holistic Approach to Healing
Garnett’s philosophy centres on a holistic approach to recovery, combining hands-on treatment with education and tailored exercise strategies to get you feeling your best. His personal experience in fitness ranges from competitive bodybuilding and CrossFit to Powerlifting. This drives his passion for injury prevention and recovery, especially when it comes to sport and lifestyle-related injuries. Whether you’re dealing with general aches and pains or looking to bounce back from something more serious, Garnett has the expertise and knowledge to guide you through the recovery process.
Outside the Clinic
When he’s not in the clinic helping you recover and thrive, Garnett is probably out enjoying all that Canmore has to offer. He’s an avid hiker, snowboarder, and motorcyclist, and loves spending time exploring the rockies with his fiancè or paddle boarding with his dog. The natural beauty of the area fuels his passion for health and wellness, and he looks forward to serving the residents of Canmore and surrounding areas for many years to come.
Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or just looking to improve your overall health, Garnett is here to help you achieve your goals with care, compassion, and expertise.
From Brazil to the Bow Valley
Thaís’s journey in healthcare began in Brazil, where she earned her Physical Therapy degree from Universidade Paulista in 2005. After spending more than three years working alongside her family at their clinic, she opened her own practice, which she successfully operated for nearly a decade. These experiences gave Thaís a strong foundation in rehabilitation, movement, and individualized patient care.
Driven by a commitment to lifelong learning, Thaís has completed more than 50 continuing education courses throughout her career. She became a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor in 2009 and earned her Rehabilitation Pilates certification in 2011, further developing her ability to incorporate movement and therapeutic exercise into her approach.
A New Chapter in Canada
In 2015, Thaís immigrated to Canada and completed her Massage Therapy diploma at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. Her experience and passion for teaching later led her to become a Lead Instructor at CCMH in 2020. She eventually relocated to Canmore, where she is now proud to serve the Bow Valley as a registered massage therapist with the Massage Therapists Association of Alberta.
A Thoughtful Approach to Care
Thaís brings an extensive understanding of the body, movement, and rehabilitation to every treatment. Her approach combines skilled hands-on therapy with knowledge developed through years of clinical practice, Pilates instruction, and continuing education. She takes the time to understand each person’s needs and tailors her treatments to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support long-term well-being.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing persistent muscular tension, or simply looking to move and feel better, Thaís is committed to helping you work toward your goals with knowledge, compassion, and personalized care.

Meet Rochelle
Returning to Her Western Roots
Growing up in Edmonton, Rochelle always felt a strong connection to Western Canada. After spending more than 15 years practising physiotherapy in Toronto, she decided to return to her roots and make the leap to Canmore—embracing a more grounded lifestyle surrounded by the Canadian Rockies.
As a lifelong learner, Rochelle is committed to continually expanding her knowledge so she can provide thoughtful, evidence-informed care. She earned her Fellowship of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) designation, representing advanced postgraduate training in manual therapy and clinical reasoning. She has also completed certifications in dry needling (IMS), pelvic health physiotherapy, and the GLA:D® program for hip and knee osteoarthritis. This diverse training allows Rochelle to support people through different stages of life, recovery, and physical activity.
Movement Is Medicine
Rochelle firmly believes that movement is medicine. Her approach recognizes that the body is interconnected and that physical and mental well-being can deeply influence one another. By taking the time to understand the root of an issue—not simply offering a quick fix—she develops individualized treatment plans that combine hands-on care, education, and purposeful movement.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing persistent pain, navigating pelvic health concerns, or living with hip or knee osteoarthritis, Rochelle’s goal is simple: to help you better understand your body and empower you to return to the activities that matter most.
Outside the Clinic
When she’s not helping clients move and feel their best, Rochelle recharges by spending time in nature. She enjoys exploring the local trails with her husband and dog and embracing the mountain lifestyle that brought her home to the West.
Rochelle looks forward to supporting the people of Canmore and the surrounding communities with knowledgeable, compassionate care—helping everyday people move with confidence and get back to doing what they love.
